Money in the bank (via direct deposit).

At Indeed, you’ll be paid bi-monthly on the 15th and final day of every month. Enrolling in direct deposit is encouraged for a quick and paperless payday. You can enroll in direct deposit on your first day, but be aware that sometimes you may receive one or two paper checks before the program kicks in.

Prepare yourself for retiremen(t).

The sooner you begin saving, the more money you will have available to retire. Starting down the path to saving for your retirement is easier than you think:

  • Enroll in the 401(k) plan with Fidelity
  • Indeed matches 50% of the first 6% you contribute
  • Immediate vesting
  • Contribute up to $19,500 into your 401(k) or $26,000 if you are 50 or older
  • 401(k) deductions come out of regular earnings, including base salary, quarterly bonus, and commissions

In addition, you can speak with a Fidelity representative about rolling over an existing 401(k) to your new Indeed account.  Learn about the different types of 401(k)s we offer here(This graph is for illustrative purposes only.  Actual investment returns are impacted by multiple variables and are not guaranteed.)

Transit Benefits

Put your wages to work for public transit.

Commuter Transit Account:

A Commuter Transit Account lets you pay for qualified public transit expenses on a pre-tax basis. The money you contribute to your account is not subject to payroll taxes, so you end up paying less in taxes with more take-home pay from your check.

Commuter Parking Account:

A Commuter Parking Account lets you pay for qualified parking expenses on a pre-tax basis. The money you contribute your account is not subject to payroll taxes, so you end up paying less in taxes and taking home more of your paycheck. Even if you pay for parking for work only a few days a week, a Commuter Parking Account still saves you money.

You may choose to contribute to one or both of these commuter options.

  • Save an average of 30-40% on qualified parking expenses and qualified public transit expenses as part of your daily commute to work

  • Easy to use—download a free mobile app and manage your account with your mobile device

  • No waiting for Open Enrollment—sign up any time to start saving—and no “use it or lose it” as long as you’re employed by Indeed!

RSUs: Indeed’s equity-based incentive program

Share Indeed's success

In 2021, Indeed began offering Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as a way to reward employees who contribute to the long-term success of Indeed.

RSUs are equity-based incentives issued by an employer in the form of company stock shares. At Indeed, our RSUs are stock shares in our parent company, Recruit Holdings, which is traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan (6098.T).

Our RSU long-term incentive program has three goals in mind:

  • To encourage employees to think like owners
  • To align incentives with company performance
  • To reward employees for the company’s financial success

Identity Theft Protection

Making sure there’s no one like you.

Indeedians can register up to 10 credit and debit cards for surveillance against identity theft. They can also receive assistance to restore financial records in the event of an identity theft incident. Help will be available through a hotline or by registering your credit cards online. You’ll find more information about this on the internal Indeed website your first day.
