Medical and Dental

Head, shoulders, knees and toes (and mouth).

Medical and dental benefits are available for Indeed employees and their families, including spouses, children, and domestic partners. Indeed provides a medical plan with DKV that covers employees and their dependents. A number of dental benefits are included under the healthcare plan. The plan is fully funded by Indeed for both employees and their dependents. Coverage includes hospitalization costs and outpatient coverage to name but a few.

We offer paid holidays allowing you to take time off to celebrate and observe events that are important to you. We also have a floating civic holiday for election days and a floating religious observance holiday. Don’t see a holiday you celebrate, take PTO from your open PTO plan.

Open Paid Time Off

Your time off is an open book — what stories will you tell?

Indeed offers you open Paid Time Off (PTO) as part of your benefits and perks package. That’s right! We trust you to manage your time off, and as long as it doesn’t negatively impact your productivity, your team, or the business, there is no cap on how much time you can take off. You’ll just need your manager’s approval in advance for any time-off requests.

Each month Indeed takes a company-wide day off. Yep, we shut down and give you a day to recharge and renew in a way that’s meaningful to you. No strings, no work, all YOU!

Paid Leave

Parent/Caregiver & Bereavement

Parent/Caregiver - We want to support you in the early stages of bonding with your child. Primary caregivers can take 16 weeks of fully-paid leave with a return transition period. Secondary caregivers can take 6 weeks of fully-paid leave. Talk to your manager if you anticipate any parental leave care needs after you start at Indeed.

Bereavement - Indeed provides up to 15 days off for bereavement leave.

Counseling

Professional assistance when you need it most.

You or someone in your household may need someone to talk to from time to time. A counselor is a certified, confidential, impartial resource to help you work through family and relationship concerns, career milestones, move through grief, and more. Indeed offers dedicated counselors and high-touch provider matching so you get the help you need when you need it.

We support all paths to parenthood.

We are proud to have an allied partner for all paths to forming a family including egg/sperm freezing, IUI, IVF, Adoption, Surrogacy, Maternity and early Paediatrics. In the US, we have rich fertility benefits through our medical plans and outside the US we offer a taxable reimbursement benefit to offset the sometimes high costs of starting a family.

We’re constantly striving to support you and your family and offer Parenting & Pediatrics programs, child and elder care provider matching, and backup care for days when your regular care isn’t available.

Sometimes we need extra help, and our employee assistance program (EAP) is here for you. The service and support is anonymous and at not additional cost to you.
