A person, will or trust that you designate to receive financial benefits in the form of life insurance, and pension should you pass away. Beneficiaries should be designated as soon as you enroll in benefits and can be updated at any time through Workday.


Your copay is a small, fixed amount that you pay each time a covered service is provided to you. Think of the copay like paying your share of medical services. The insurance company pays the rest for you. Note that this only applies to certain services as outlined in your policy, such as accommodation in private hospitals.

Salary Sacrifice

Salary sacrifice is where you give up part of your salary in return for a benefit provided to you by Indeed. An example of this would be your taxsaver or bike to work scheme


Your premium is the amount Indeed pays on your behalf. You, as an employee only has to pay a small amount of tax on this monthly premium.

Can I add and remove dependents after I sign up?

You can add or remove dependents throughout the annual enrollment window (February). If you have a life changing event mid year, you can amend dependents.  

What’s the difference between Inpatient and Outpatient?

Inpatient care describes any treatment or service that requires a visit to a hospital or other healthcare facility and requires an overnight stay. Outpatient care is a medical treatment or diagnostic that does not require being admitted overnight to a hospital.

I had an existing pension before joining Indeed, can I transfer it?

Absolutely! If you have any existing pension scheme(s) and you would like to transfer these to Indeed’s pension plan, you can do so. The first step would be to reach out to an Aon UK Pension Consultant who can organise the transfer. Check out the contact details on the Benefits Portal in the FAQ section.

What counts as a life event?

During the course of the year, you might experience a change in your life that allows you to make changes to your benefits.  This includes getting married, having a baby, adopting a child, losing other coverage, or sometimes moving to a different area.  At Indeed, you have 30 days from the date of the event to notify us that you need to update your benefits.  

What is Auto Enrolment?

Under the Pensions Act 2008 in the UK, all employers must automatically put all employees into a pension scheme when they join the company. The contributions are set at 1% employee and 2% employer contribution.
